Gillian Christy: Waves of Grain

The Sunne Savage Gallery is pleased to promote the first solo exhibition of Gillian Christy in the Boston area. The Boston Sculptors Gallery is hosting Waves of Grain  from September 5^th through October 7^th, 2012. A reception for the exhibition will be held on this Saturday, September 8^th. Gillian will also be participating in Frist Friday receptions on September 7^th and October 8^th, as well as the South End Open Studios September 15^th through 17^th.

We have had the pleasure of working with Gillian on a number of projects including four wall reliefs for the W Hotel Boston, and Wave Traveler a large scale free standing sculpture commissioned by Intercontinental Real Estate for their Waterplace Residences. Both projects can be seen on the Sunne Savage Gallery website.

Gillian Christy is a young and talented female sculptor who is beyond a pleasure to work with. In addition to the existing works on display at the Boston Sculptors Gallery, Gillian is experienced in commissioned sculptural projects. The Sunne Savage Gallery will be arranging private gallery visits with Gillian for the duration of the exhibition. Please contact Christina Godfrey to schedule a visit.
